Since is made by Horizon Group LLC. This page explains what happens with your information when you use the Since app and this website. It's short, because there isn't much to explain.

The short version: everything you put into Since stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no servers of ours holding your data. We only ever see your email address if you choose to write to us.

What the app collects

Nothing. Your reminders, inbox items, history, and settings are stored in a local database on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere, and there is no account to create. We cannot see what you're remembering, what you've done, or when — and we like it that way.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled directly on your device using iOS local notifications. No push servers are involved, and nothing about your reminders travels over the network.

If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix whatever needs fixing. We'll delete the conversation on request.

This website

since.care is a static site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, whose servers see the standard technical details of any web request (such as your IP address) in order to deliver the font files.

The App Store

Since is free. Downloads are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Apple shares aggregate, anonymized statistics with developers; nothing in those reports identifies you.

Children

Since has no accounts, collects no data, and shows no ads, so there is no personal information from anyone — children included — for us to hold.

Security

Your data lives inside the app's sandbox on your device and is protected by your device's own passcode and encryption. Deleting the app deletes everything in it.

Your rights

Because your data never leaves your device, you already have full control of it: it's yours, on your phone, and removing the app removes it completely. For anything you've emailed us, ask and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change ever means data would leave your device, we'll say so plainly — that would be a big deal, and we'd treat it like one.
